I just wanna say whoever designed the dollar bill was insane. So many little lines! *cries*
Done for my Graphic Design I class, we had to design a travel poster for a city, state or country. We had to create 9 thumbnails, and one of my ideas/thumbnails was the Philadelphia Mint...which lead to this. Ow. Finger cramp. This took 11 hours to complete. Not all at once mind you. 4 Hours one day, 6.5 a second day, and half an hour before class(colouring mostly).
As is, I did not draw the entire dollar bill exactly as it is, and the lines are actually backwards...all those little lines around the edge? Take a look at a US $1 if you have it handy and you'll see that it's actually a whole lot of white lines, not black. Believe me, I may be partially insane, but I'm not that over the edge...@@;;;
I used .25, .35 & .5 technical pens (Staedler-Mars I think is what they're called), 2 Green Prisma Markers, a #2 pencil. Lastly, this is on marker paper.
I beg you...somebody please shoot me if I consider doing something like this again.
