Artist's Comments

So I took a painting class this semester which used mostly oils as the medium. It was my first time using them, and I don't think I did too badly...

Anyway, this is a painting that was part of my final. It's based off a photograph of my best friend, another buddy, and I photoshopped myself in there.

It has a double meaning, for one thing Nunnally and Suzaku were Lelouch's world and their world was what he was lived and died for. However, he failed to realize that he was a huge part of their world as well.

Also, the Lelouch here, the cosplayer I used for a reference is my best friend...so he's a pretty dang big part of my world too. I had to photograph it as it was still wet at the time, and I can't scan it right now because I don't own it anymore. It was given to my best friend as a Christmas present.

Medium: Oil paints
Time Taken: 24+ hours

Code Geass is (c) Sunrise, character designs are property of Clamp and anybody else I missed
